This policy explains what K9 Bed Bug Detection of East Tennessee ("we," "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
The only personal information we ask for is what you type into our inspection request form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of property, and your message. We use this to respond to you and to schedule an inspection. Nothing on this form is required beyond your name, email, and message.
Like every website, our host keeps standard server logs (for example, the requesting IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.
How we use your information
We use the details you send to reply to your request, quote and schedule an inspection, and keep a record of the work. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We will not add you to marketing or promotional emails unless you ask us to. We only share it with the service providers below who help us run the site and deliver your message.
Who handles your information
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the spam check ("Turnstile") that protects the form. Turnstile is designed to verify you are a real person without tracking you across other websites.
- Resend delivers your form submission from the website to our business email inbox.
- Our email provider receives your message in our inbox, the same way a normal email would arrive.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so this site does not show a cookie consent banner. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count visits and show which pages are popular. That kind of analytics measures traffic in aggregate and does not identify you personally or follow you to other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry and any related records for as long as we need them to provide the service and for ordinary business records. When we no longer need them, we delete them. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information you sent us, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@easttnbedbug.com and we will take care of it.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging a service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
